YIANNIMIZE COMPS X FUND OF CARS RAISED £6K FOR CHARITY!
Fund of Cars had their first ever event on March 12th 2023 at Duke of London and we decided to partner with them to raise money for Macmillan Cancer!
The original goal of the event was the have the children from the Macmillan group to come and enjoy the cars that arrived at the venue. However it wasn’t a possibility at the time and so Fund of cars had a brilliant idea to make it a virtual experience for the children by setting up a camera and going live for them to watch.
Cars arrived at 9am and more than 40 cars came to show their support. A great variety of cars such as the Ultima RS and an Aventador Ultimae was there to wow the crowd!
During the event there were multiple partners that showed the support such as The glen turret whisky team, who raffled a prize to win a £1,500 trip to a distillery, with flights & restaurants included. Donations to this raffle prize all went to the charities Fund of Cars were supporting.
There were even paintings from artists that were up for auction and 30% of all profits went to the Charities too. Including our support of giving away £5 gift cards to those who bought a ticket to the event, was to raise more money & awareness to Macmillan Cancer!
Thanks to everyone’s dedication and efforts, Fund of Cars were able to raise an incredible amount of more than £6,000 to go towards Macmillan Cancer and also Cwplus Charity. This was definitely amazing news to hear, especially as their team was there to witness everyone’s support and was thankful for the positive difference the money can make in their children’s lives!
The event was a tremendous success overall and we are so happy to have been a part of it. We are definitely looking forward for what is to come next!
