MINI JCW LIVE WINNER REVEAL!
On the 7th of July, we revealed our latest upcoming car which was the Mini John Cooper Works. We decided it would be a fantastic idea to bring back the live draws once again to reveal the winner of this impressive car once the competition ends.
Imagine winning a tuned up version of a Mini from only 99p if you are a Member and £1.99 if you are a Non Y-Club member! It was definitely a prize you cannot miss.
The Live draw happened at 6pm on Monday 24th of July and Yianni was live on both Facebook and Instagram, anticipating who the winner could be.
Yianni set the name generator once again and a Huge Congratulations to Michael Thornton from County Durham, who was our big winner of the Mini John Cooper Works! Yianni tried to phone him multiple times through FaceTime but at the end Yianni got a hold of him through the office line.
Michael didn’t recognize that it was Yianni calling him and He was quite hesitant to stay on the phone with him until Yianni revealed that it was Yiannimize Competitions calling him for something very exciting.
Michael instantly was up for the FaceTime and explained that the reason why he didn’t answer was because he was in the process of doing home improvements and would’ve called back later. We are glad we finally got to speak to him as we found out that Michael only became a Y-Club member a couple of months ago and wouldn’t have guessed He would end up winning anything.
Yianni asked why it took him so long to get involved in the Competitions but Michael explained that due to his job offshore, He never could commit to anything until recently. We asked Michael if he knew what he could’ve won and He thought that he won some cash which would be a great help due to his home improvements but once Yianni revealed that He had won the John Cooper Works, Michael was super excited!
Michael said that his mum owned a Mini a few years ago and He loved it and so owning his own John Cooper Works is unbelievable to him as He has never won anything in his life, not even a FIVER in the lottery!
Being a Y-Club member, He was able to enter Half-Price for the tickets and so as He only entered 15 tickets to the Mini, it only cost him £15 for this amazing prize.
There was no cash alternative to this car and so we asked if He will be using the car for himself but Michael explained that this win came at a perfect time as his girlfriend has been looking to purchase a Mini and so it is not only good news for him but for his girlfriend too.
Congratulations again to Michael & We will see him soon to collect the John Cooper Works at Yiannimize Enfield.
